  The Atypical Family is another K-drama involving the supernatural genre, characterized by a slow pace that is unique to itself. The Bok family members each possess unique abilities, but they lose them due to modern diseases, only to regain them when Do Do Hee, a masseur and con artist, enters their lives and quietly turns everything upside down. Bok Inha stands out as one of the most intriguing characters, transitioning from invisibility at school and within her family, hiding her powers, to becoming visible and embracing her abilities thanks to Do Da Hee. The bond she forms with her father, Gwiju, is wholesome and it's safe to say that Do Da Hee plays a significant role in this transformation. Dong Gee's journey, overcoming obesity and discovering what truly matters to her, is commendable. However, the forced romantic angle between Gwi Ju and Do Da Hee received mixed reactions; some liked it, while others, like myself, did not. Granny's obsession with power over the year...

This drama revolves around the supernatural activities within the Bok Family. A lady who has inherited these powers from her ancestors is obsessed with her abilities, affecting everyone around her. Her husband, seemingly a butler in their family, lacks any powers or authority. Their son Bok Gwiju, grappling with depression and alcoholism for seven years following the death of his beloved wife has neglected his only daughter, Bok Inha. He has lost his ability to revisit his happiest memories from the past, with no one able to see him except himself, unable to change anything. Inha, unnoticed by her family except for her grandfather is socially awkward and nearly invisible at school, spending most of her time on her phone. Her grandmother, once able to foresee the future in her dreams which brought the family great wealth, lost her powers due to insomnia.  Enter a masseur who provides Inha's granny with such soothing massages and tea that she begins to dream again, leading to plans f...
